of the League of Nations, which is at
present engaged investigating the traffic
in women and children in the Far East.
When the League of Nations Commission's Report
is published, it is proposed to consider seriously
arefulty/whether its investigators, after
their careful
her enquiry on the spot,have any
constructive suggestions to make which would
still further lessen the possibility of any
abuses occurring in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Society for the
Protection of Children issued last autumn
a Report on its first three months' activities, and
the Governor understands that it will shortly publish
details of the first 100 cases investigated by
it. I am to suggest that you should communicate
direct with the Hon. Secretary of the Society,
which is, of course, an unofficial organisation,
and make arrangements to receive its publications.
